绚丽时尚的光涂鸦正在成为目前最流行的街头艺术，就像焰火一样给人以深刻的影响。从汽车闪灯、自行车灯到不断变换色彩的LED灯，都是摄影师镜头扑捉的目标。他们利用镜头做画笔绘出了一幅幅令人惊叹的艺术作品。
光涂鸦也被称为光绘画、光摄影，是一种在黑暗环境中利用相机对移动的光源进行长时间曝光而创造出特殊影像效果的摄影方法。有时候甚至要曝光超过一个小时，同时还需要放慢快门速度。这种技术看似奇特，实际简单，以虚幻的风景为画布，以发光的物体为素材，再借用普通的数码相机和三角架就可以做到。
这些光涂鸦作品是由来自德国柏林的Jan Wöllert和Jörg Miedza两人完成的，他们也是LAPP摄影工作室(Light Art Performance Photography) 的创立者。从2007年开始，两人利用业余时间拍摄完成了大量摄影作品。
Jan Wöllert和Jörg Miedza选用的是2110万像素的佳能EOS 5D Mark II相机，而且这些作品也没有经过任何电脑处理。
