一生也许只能见一次的美国尸花（组图）

屍花"的中文名稱為"泰坦魔芋花"。英文為"Titan Arum".也稱"Corpse Flower"或"Stinky Plant". 展出的地點為加州San Marino市的一個植物園內。由於這種花完全開放之後會發出一股令人作嘔的、類似屍體腐爛的臭味，由此而得名。根據記載，"屍花"原產於蘇門達臘的熱帶雨林內。
這次距離上次的開花時間為７年前的２００２年。通常這種花幾十年才會開花一次，而且每次開花的時間僅能維持兩三天。所以一般人一生中也許祇能遇到一次。祇有幸叩娜瞬庞袡C會看到！我這次算是極其幸叩模∥沂菬o意中從華人報紙上看到這個新聞的，（ 我通常在禮拜六才會買一份星島日報。因為這天買報會附送一本『東週刊』。）由於機會難得，我不想錯過，不過還是慢了半拍。到達這裡已是６月１９日。（ "屍花"６月１７日下午開花 ）
屍花的展出地點位於植物園內的溫室。雖然已無法看到它完全開放的樣子，但至少能在現場看到它的真面目
