在未公开发布的这些照片中，有一张是年轻的梦露在公园的长椅上读书，脸上洋溢着幸福。life.com的编辑认为，这张照片应该是拍摄于洛杉矶的格里菲斯公园；还有一张是梦露赤脚站在桥上，神态平和，这张照片是由摄影师爱德华克拉克所拍，爱德华·克拉克说：“因为她当时还不太出名而且刚入行不擅长在镜头前的展现自我，所以为了抓取最美的角度，我花费了大量的时间。”
在之后的照片拍摄中，梦露开始展露自信和性感，她之后的照片均被视为流行的标志。其中一张最著名的是在拍摄电影《七年之痒》时，梦露一袭白色长裙，裙角被风吹起，性感之外又显几分俏皮。
1962年，美国摄影师伯特斯·特恩在一系列精美的照片中，拍摄展现了醉态的、性感的梦露，但在拍摄后的六个星期，梦露神秘去世，这次即被称为梦露生前的“最后一次”拍摄
