Oil sketch: docked boats

Oil on panel, 16 X 12. Done in two hours. I got there late to begin with and the sun moves so fast I have to keep moving my easel. But after 10 minutes I would be still exposed in the sun, so I had to paint really quick. Then there were kids on canoes and boats came to dock and walked back and forth...quite some unexpected disturbance. Not great but it's okay for an oil sketch. Just part of the learning experience.
