I have just done my CPA auditing exam. Based on what you say, please send a followup email to the management and keep this writing.

If the auditor found this misstake and the mistake is material, he/she will communicate with the manager and TCWG. If the manager and TCWG do not adjust the mistake, the auditor will issue qualified or adversed opinion depends how material and/or pervasive the 300k is.
