This is sad; first of all despite all Chinese out there think that Lin is Chinese he is NOT. He represents a US NBA team and he is a US citizen. Why is that every time some one is remotely related to Chinese by blood, genetically, or heritage everyone just assumes he/she is a Chinese? Like many people think Gary Locke is Chinese but he is NOT. True ESPN might be doing something stupid but you allow it by recognize Lin is a Chinese.
