Even if that asymptomatic transmission is confirmed, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, stressed that asymptomatic transmission is not health officials' primary concern.
"In all the history of respiratory viruses, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks," Fauci said. "An epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers."
这个病毒前所未有，在潜伏期就具有很强的传染力，美国人，其实西方都是如此，不相信，所以Facuci才有上面的说法。由于中国人普遍戴口罩，这个问题不显得那么严重，但在西方尤其是美国就不一样了。大家都不戴口罩，可说是对病毒不设防，畅通无阻。所以西方，特别是美国才把问题弄得这么严重。Dr. Deborah Birx 抱怨中国没把病毒的严重性告诉外界。中国，乃至东亚，普遍戴口罩，问题当然不是特别严重，那里也没经历过普遍不戴口罩，当然不知道问题能够有多严重。美国及其西方不相信中国人说的，对无症状传染不重视，也不认为会是个问题。在4月3日以前都是告诉民众不要戴口罩，普通口罩挡不住病毒，如果不会戴或戴的不正确，it will do more harm than good。 当时根本没有认识到戴口罩的重要性，根本不是口罩不够的原因。4月3日CDC建议民众戴口罩时就说买不到口罩可以自己做，用纱巾蒙住口鼻都可以，这也说明不是口罩不够的问题。
所以在这次抗疫中，美国公共卫生间其中当然包括Dr. Fauci & Dr. Birx 是不及格的，这还是事先中国人告诉他们的情况下。
After FLOYD died and BLM started, almost no discussion on covid-19 from anyone. Now BLM and so-called protest is slowly fading, covid-19 suddenly becomes the hot topid once again. So interesting is not it?
when BLM is on its peak, where are our expert? should not they warn the ppls on the street for the danger of further spreading covid? when kids throw the covid party, where are our experts?
We American do not need to follow the president if he/she was wrong. Rather than blaming from left to right, where are the common sense.
