That makes sense. Without the super rich actress story, he could not laundry so much money. I was actually not sure whether the story was true until I saw the video of his interview. He could not even speak English! And his demeanor suggested nothing but a person without any education background. I could not believe he was so bold to be interviewed on TV. Did he think Chinese were so stupid?
Just googled 李春平 out of curiosity. My guess is that he made up a story of marrying to an actress to cover up something.
