MORE THAN 40 per cent of prolonged illness in the country which result into death are as result of wrong diagnosis, director of medical services Francis Kimani has said. He said the deaths could be avoided if laboratory technicians are more cautious while carrying out tests on patients. He said if hospitals are equipped with standard equipment and qualified personnel, getting the right diagnosis will not be hard.
