My American client who told me that the Muslims use the right hands to eat, use the left hands to clean up the poo with out toilet papers! I said to him that the Indians are the same! That's funny: I did not know about the Muslims, and he did not know about the Indians!

Even though the riches who could have formal restrooms, but there are no any toilet papers, or seat papers available! How to clean up? Have you see the buckets? They use one hand to hold the water in the scoop, another to wash it with out a basin and soap, of course no paper towel or towel to dry off!

Squat toilet is indeed more hygienic than sit down toilet.
In most of the public restrooms, men just pee into toilet without lifting the seat. The mini droplets always land on the seats.
I generally avoid sit down in public restrooms. If I have too, I will wipe it really hard before touching it.

This is pretty normal. Just a few years ago when Chinese just come to the US, a lot of folks can't get used to using the toilet. They believe toilets are not 'clean' and insist using toilets by squat on them (instead of sitting on them).
This is really stupid. Chinese really ain't any better than Indian.
