It is extremely important to save life at the first possible time frame. The airplane lost communication at 1:21 a.m.: Transponder off. Malaysia military or Malaysia government should have checked the problem area starting from 1:21 AM. I do not see anything was done till next Morning, when people were still waiting for the delayed flight MH370 at Beijing Airport. Something is terribly missed after the communication with the Airplane was lost. Lack of the first time action, this is causing all the confusions. Someone should be responsible for this.
