US will be eaten by its own government employees pension plan, including local governments. It has made all employees lazy and government bigger everyday. any reform on the pension system will face great resistance. Bankrupt it all is only way to rebuild. contracting out jobs, limiting employment length short than 10 years, laying off its workers are just a start of saving it and changing it to a more efficient government.
