I don't think China is looking for a slow-down solution, rather than a solution for a so-called new growing point. Soon or later, the increasing labor cost and high inflation would be a problem for exporting, a key economic driven force for China's rapid development in the last twenty years.

It's not stupid at all. The real estate has sucked all the money into it and the economic growth is unhealthy and not sustainable.

When the economy is in downturn, the government needs to take action to stimulate it. When the economy is growing fast, does the government needs to take action to slow down? In certain condition, the economy could grow fast for quite long period of time.
The new government seems making very stupid decision.
