A Justice Department study, which was reportedly removed from its website, noted that from 1990 to September 2025, far-right extremists committed significantly more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left extremists. For instance, one data point indicated far-right extremists committed 227 attacks that killed over 520 people, while far-left extremists committed 42 attacks that killed 78 people during the same period.
