Putin's invasion of Ukraine, first and foremost, is a European problem. Granted, the US is the flagbearer of the free world and it has been the biggest supporter of Ukraine so far in its resistance. If Putin wins, he won't hesitate to gobble up the west Europe.
Now the US is bogged down by internal politics and is unable to provide timely ammunitions to Ukraine. It's reassuring to see France step up to take the lead to continue to provide support to Ukraine. Germany and the UK should do the same as leaders of the democratic camp in Europe.
