It's actually very affordable to live on a cruise ship. If you book early and pay attention to the deals, you can probably find deals less than $80 per day, which is cheaper than a hotel. Plus it includes food, and may come with free vouchers that you can use onboard. The down side is the room is very small(unless you get the suite which cost a lot). You will not stay in your room except for sleeping anyway. There are plenty of activities onboard but I guess you can get bored too.
