WASHINGTON, DC—The U.S. Postal Service issued the Chien-ShiungWu stamp today. This new commemorative Forever stamp honors professor Chien-ShiungWu (1912-1997), one of the most influential nuclear physicists of the 20th century. The stamp was dedicated during a virtual ceremony and is now being sold at Post Office locations nationwide and online at usps***/wustamp.
“It is a privilege to represent the U.S. Postal Service as we honor the life and achievements of Dr.Chien-Shiung Wu,” said dedicating official Kristin Seaver, chief retail and delivery officer and executive vice president, U.S. Postal Service. “And, we believe that today, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, is perfect timing for this dedication.

Cutepp, at very least, one should consider if him/herself has the same or higher levels of creativity or not to make a such negative comment to a person largely respected by american physicists. You may feel free to reveal your own achievements to justify the intention.

I would be reluctant to randomly accuse someone whom I never met of being ignorant. Carrying a leadership position in an academic organization largely indicates one's influence and leadership skill; it may or may not directly evidence one's top notch creativity.
