美国加州圣荷西（San Jose）一家珠宝店9月5日下午2时遭到洗劫，10几个蒙面匪徒驾车撞烂店铺大门，还把88岁老板推倒在地，导致他受伤并中风发作。圣荷西市长马汉（Matt Mahan）7日在社交平台上表示对此感到愤怒，并已下令警方调查。

闭路电视的片段显示，一辆SUV倒车撞破“金兴珠宝店”（Kim H?ng Jewelry）珠宝店的大门，十几个蒙面匪徒走进店里，大喊：“所有人伏低！”手拿铁锤砸碎展柜、抢走商品。还有人持手枪，粗暴推倒88岁店主，导致他被玻璃刺伤。匪徒得手随后扬长而去。
美国CNBC报道，店主的侄女称叔叔送医后才发现中风，上周日已经出院。她说“我觉得他绝对不会回来（珠宝店）了。”
美国广播公司（ABC）引述当地领导人表示，珠宝店因此损失了5万到10万美元（约39万到77.8万港元）。
当地租赁住房协会董事会成员摩尔（Chris Moore）在社交平台X（旧称Twitter）上呼吁圣荷西市长马汉追查此事。
马汉随后回应：“看到这位老人被攻击，我气血冲天。这些人必须为他们的行为承担最严厉的后果。我已经联繫了圣荷西警察局局长约瑟夫（Paul Joseph），他将进行调查。”
