Walking on the grass on the sidewalk along the busy road, I talked with her and appreciated the beautify of spring in nature. Pink, yellowish-green, yellow and white flowers are blooming in the air here and there; blue-purple and yellow wild flowers are spreading or dotting in vibrant grass everywhere. These scenes you can see at every corner of the town, but there is an unique landscape in this part of the road which is created by a spacious pasture and the wood circling around behind it.  an old grey concrete tower which served as a corn storage back to 1950s standing at a corner of it.

I started noticing the pasture and the corn field last summer. Back then, I thought them abandoned areas. I saw a deer at a night running and a group of turkeys in a day time wandering across the road in between the pasture and the corn field. Their occurrence shocked me since they are so close to the complexes near around, I worried about their safety when they were passing across the busy road.  Now, after I learned the history of the town, my perspective to the pasture and corn field has changed. They are not abandoned, they have been taking care of as part of the memories of this town. The big board facing the busy road proves my new thought. I bet few people have noticed this board when they sit in the car, whooshing by like wind.

The red brick of the library occurred from the gaps of two evergreen pine trees and dense, cloud-like white and purple-pink flowers(malus and plum), I would go home from the shortcut I just found 2 days ago. I would be access to the two trees with white flowers, to the brook again. A hour’s walking in nature during four seasons is such a pleasant way to treat me. In my eyes, spring looks like a water-color painting, summer like a meticulous painting , Autumn like oil-painting and winter like Chinese ink-painting.
