Milestone

I was awakened by a nightmare a minute before midnight,

rolled off the bed,

crawled towards the bathroom for a fresh breath.

My Fitbit lighted up fireworks,

when I opened the door to the bathroom.

It celebrated 

my ten thousand steps for yesterday, 

also marked 

my first step towards the toilet today.
