总的从消费，也就是日常生活来看，大家蛮不错，信心足。在这个背景下，总结一下不久前皮尤（Pew）的几个民调。
 
 
民调有代表性，但不是绝对的，尤其是大家常常不知道自己想什么，要什么，而且现在民调很难，没人愿意接电话，所以不好把握，算是参考。
 
这是主题：暗淡
Public is broadly pessimistic about the future of America
相对衰退并不一定是衰退，只是别人比你快而已，稍微不顺就觉得难受是美国特色（参见：东亚奇迹），这种心态渗入民间对士气不利，所以外交国防产业的精英一般不提，只是强调美国的巨大优势，那都是事实，美国还是有巨大优势。这种选择性的宣传是中美双方习惯手段，所以这种最大的忧患是美国民众对国内矛盾的忧虑。

说大家往往不知道自己想什么，要什么，不是胡诌
