不知道谁把standup comedy翻成了脱口秀，就脱口秀吧。
脱口秀大会，看完了李雪琴，基本放弃。苛刻的说，国内的脱口秀最高段位，就是“宇宙的尽头在铁岭”——尽头了。鲜有幽默，只有搞笑耍嘴皮子。
不是中国人不行，是环境不适合这个行业。中国人绝对能做好脱口秀，黄西就是最好的证明，而且，人家是用他的第二语言。
黄西的段子，不是一般的搞笑，是正真的幽默，而且是高级幽默。可惜，黄西海归后发挥不出他的天才，而他用汉语说的段子不好笑，因为他的思维是美式的，况且国内的环境也不允许他自由发挥。在白宫，黄西可以调侃美国的宪法，美国的医疗体系，各种社会问题，甚至可以当面调侃拜登，这些都是绝好的脱口秀段子，国内，想想都危险。
我喜欢黄西，站在一个华人角度，我觉得黄西是当今最有智慧的脱口秀演员，他的段子不但没有一句这个行业里司空见惯的粗口，而且还在表面的笑料中埋藏了深层的含义，他让你笑，还让你思考。

表面的笑点就是“今天我们都是墨西哥人”——画外之意，今天的美国已经被拉美裔占领了，从而一针见血指出美国面临的社会问题。
还有，他说要教儿子学好中英文，因为将来儿子当了美国总统，签署文件时用英文，而和讨债公司交涉时用中文！这里深层的含义，大家应该都意会了。
调侃川普建墙，他说I am from China and I know a lot about walls... 停顿一下，下面有人开始笑了，还有一些人没get，他马上接着亮底牌：they don’t work!
