The methodology for the ranking is laughable. It is mostly based on the publication rate. For example, if someone publishes 30 papers per year for the last 10 years, she or he will be likely in the top 100. Or if someone receives 100 citations per year regardless the publication journals she or he will be likely in the top list as well. By such measures Einstein would have no chance to make to the top 500 if such a ranking were made when he was alive. How many Nobel prize winners made to the top 100 of that list?
