辞职也有钱 亚马逊送5000元 但不能再回来

亚马逊向不想继续工作的员工提供高达5000元,付钱让他们辞职。员工工作满一年就符合条件,不过有一项但书:接受这笔钱后,他们将再也不能在亚马逊工作。
亚马逊发言人梅兰妮‧艾许思(Melanie
Etches)表示:“我们希望在亚马逊工作的人是想要来这里发展。留在一个你不想待的地方,长期下来,对员工或公司都不健康。”
公司提供2000元离职金给在公司工作一年的员工,多工作一年,就增加1000元,金额最高为5000元。这项计画被称为“付钱离职”(Pay
to
Quit),原本是线上鞋零售商“Zappos”设立,该公司于2009年被亚马逊并购。Zappos当初仅提供此计画给工作几周的新进员工,离职金设定为1000元。
亚马逊表示,他们并不希望员工接受这项离职金,计画备注也写道:“请不要接受这笔钱”。既然如此,为什么还提供员工这个选项呢?亚马逊创办人暨执行长贝佐斯(Jeff
Bezos)表示,该计画的目标是鼓励员工花时间思考,他们是否真的想留在亚马逊工作。据称接受离职金的员工很少。
考虑到员工流失的高成本,鼓励员工辞职听起来像是违反直觉的商业策略。但是,职场文化专家伯切尔(Michael
Burchell)却认为,这种作法提高员工的敬业精神,长远下来符合成本效益。
伯切尔指出,亚马逊可借此计画筛除不适用员工。尽管这可能让亚马逊花费更多钱重新雇用人员,并须在短期内培训,却可让公司找到更适用员工填补职位。
