I think he was exaggerating it as well. all announcements are announced as soon as possible and I have never been mistreated because I am Chinese. I have seen some rich Chinese who speak some English talk to service staff condescendingly. In western culture, everyone is equal. I bet he was probably rude when he asked staff questions and made requests.
Usually they will broadcast and the screen might not have the correct gate info! The only sure thing is to ask the people behind the counter near the gate. (Southwest airline from Detroit to Nashville at 6:50p 7/17/2015, they broadcast gate change but the screen did not even show gate change when boarding)
First class should have priority (since they paid big) in bigger airport. If AA did not do this, could be their mistake. Id Huang complained, he might get some free tickets.
这事儿肯定是姓黄的垃圾,听不懂英文,以为做头等舱就是大爷。在芝加哥奥海尔机场乘坐过无数次飞机,包括美航和联航之类,无论航班晚点,换登机口,天气不好,等等,美国人都是耐心等待,没有人抱怨。我有一次从芝加哥飞洛杉矶,因为早到,就登记早一班飞机stand by list。结果那架飞机只剩下两个位置,我是排第一,另外一对白人夫妇排在我后面。我当时就想,机场服务人员会不会跟我商量,让我等下一班飞机。结果呢,那个白人女的服务人员把我们三个人叫在一起,说我只有两个座位了,他是排第一的(指着我说),你们两个只能先走一个,或者两个一起等下班飞机。美国立国的根本就是公平合理,服务业更是讲究先来先到,明目张胆的种族歧视是行不通的。
