I know in NJ many "rich" folks voted for Obama (their income should be in top 5%). Some not as rich folks, but still doing fairly well (probably top 25% income)voted for Mit Romney.
I think if you are extremely rich, you might not be as concerned about the tax rate. But if you have to work hard to gain that income, you probably want to keep more yourself and vote for Mit Romney.
Agreed with Sandy54321, Republican had a chance this time, but Mit Romney is too weak. this guy is so inconsistent.

I think it's sad for the country that certain important messages didn't get through during the campaign. But hope Obama learns from his setback (yes this is nothing he could be proud of even though he won) and do better to make up for his failed first term.

Obama has nothing to be proud of. So far he is still one of the worst presidents only hanging onto presidency by a slim margin and even that is helped by a hurricane. I'm not crying yet, but even if I do that would be my sympathy for you that you have voted against your own interest, and you will agree sooner or later should your president choose to stay his course in the second term. But let's hope for the better.

The idiots who claimed the democratic suppoters are dependent on government food stamps are outright laughable!
- state wise, California and New York are the economic powerhouses of the country; While the GOP leaning states are mostly agricultural and/or former slave states;
- individually, the #1 and #2 wealthiest Americans Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are all staunch Obama supporters, and they have made more charitable donations that make any Republican pale in comparison;
This election is about the vision for America's future.

really? seriously? When you compare the 50 states after sorting them based on how their citizens voted in November 2008, only 10 Democratic-voting states are net recipients of federal subsidies, as opposed to 22 Republican states. Only one red state (Texas) is a net payer of federal taxes, as opposed to 16 blue states. One blue state (Rhode Island) pays as much as it gets.
you can't be that retarded given the fact that you are Chinese.
Now president Obama has the mandate from the American people to finish the work. I am confident the country will finally recover from the Bush era Great Recession and head back to growth and prosperity as we have witnessed under Pres Clinton. God has answered our prayer.
Did you vote? if you did, then there is no regret, cause you tried. If you didn't, then you should blame yourself. Why so much hate? do you even understand what is democracy? pity.
