In April 2015, the Dalai Lama's second brother Gyalo Thondup and Shi Wen'an co-authored the memoir "The Noodle Maker of Kalimpong: the Untold Story of My Struggle for Tibet", which was published by PublicAffairs in the United States. Shi Wen'an, co-author of the book.
