鸟瞰华盛顿特区的一些地标建筑

华盛顿市区或哥伦比亚特区在建立之初就有一个法律规定: 任何建筑物不得高于华盛顿纪念碑。两百多年过去了，这个法律一直得到遵守。在华盛顿特区，看不到一个建筑高于华盛顿纪念碑。

游人到华盛顿观光，看各种建筑和华盛顿的地标景点，都是从平面或是从下往上仰视。要想从上往下看或鸟瞰华盛顿特区，只有到一百多米高的华盛顿纪念碑的嘹望台。当然还有另外一个办法，就是坐飞机从空中鸟瞰华盛顿特区。不过这样的成本太高了。
